Mole 1.32 is live. The Mac cleaning tool that can free up tens of GBs in one go. 44.3K stars. github.com/tw93/Mole

Here’s what’s new:
· Performance: significantly faster scanning across mo clean, mo purge, and mo optimize, with parallel cache discovery…Show more, less subprocess overhead, and smoother large project handling.
· mo clean: fixes missed cleanup for macOS wallpaper agent and Messages preview caches, improves dry-run accuracy, preserves important runtime assets by default, and adds cleanup support for PCSX2 and RPCS3 caches and logs without touching save data or configs.
· mo status: improves disk capacity reporting accuracy, adds persistent high-CPU process alerts, and fixes rendering issues during terminal resize.
· mo purge: shows full paths more clearly, compresses long paths more intelligently, and speeds up size calculation to avoid menu hangs on large projects.
· Install, uninstall, and system behavior: smoother install flow with fewer repeated sudo prompts, better Touch ID detection on newer macOS versions, cleaner uninstall targets, and more consistent protection for system files, symlinks, and active data.

This release makes Mole faster, safer, and more accurate across everyday cleanup workflows. If Mole helps, I’d love your ideas on where to dig deeper for safe cleanup and more hidden junk.

Sharing the 4 Claude MCP servers I use the most lately.

1. TinyFish MCP lets Claude browse the live web, scrape, research, and return structured data instead of static answers. I’ve been using it to gather AI news for my newsletter…Show more, like pulling top Hacker News posts from the last few hours and summarizing them into a clean list.

2. GitHub MCP helps me review commits, trace changes, and understand repos without jumping between tools.

3. Figma MCP lets me inspect designs, check layout and spacing, and pull UI details directly into the conversation.

4. Excalidraw MCP is great for thinking visually. I use it to sketch flows and system ideas when text isn’t enough.

The last few are probably familiar, but the first one is worth a look. I recorded a short video showing how it works in practice. tinyfish.ai/

Kaku v0.8.0 Fish 🐟 is out. github.com/tw93/Kaku

A fast, out-of-the-box terminal built for AI coding, now with better shell integration and a more stable daily workflow. This release adds full Fish shell support via kaku init, including Starship prompt, Yazi launcher…Show more, theme sync, and a clean conf.d entrypoint.

Background tabs now show a bell indicator when tasks finish, with optional Dock badge support so you don’t lose track of long-running jobs. Kaku also remembers your last working directory when opening new tabs or windows, making sessions feel continuous. kaku update and kaku doctor now run in dedicated tabs instead of blocking your current work.

We also added a tab_title_basename_only option to simplify tab titles, fixed scrollback issues like viewport jumping during rapid output and glitches with Claude Code, and shipped a range of bug fixes and polish across window behavior, links, clipboard, SSH, and macOS stability.

Most Claude Code projects don’t fail because of prompts. They fail because of architecture drift, weak governance, unsafe defaults, and missing verification. Built from my article “You Don’t Know Claude Code”, I just shipped Claude Health. github.com/tw93/claude-health

Claude’s official “Get inspired by what you can do with Claude” page is well worth a look.

It covers practical examples across research, writing, coding, analysis, and everyday work, and it goes much deeper than I expected. Instead of reading second-hand summaries, it’s better to go straight to the official collection.

A very useful trick for working with web content and LLMs
Prepend any webpage with r.jina.ai/ and it returns a clean Markdown version of the page. Perfect for research, AI agents, or feeding documentation directly to models.

Recently came across Pi Monorepo, an open-source toolkit for building AI agents and managing LLM deployments. It includes a unified multi-provider LLM API, an agent runtime with tool calling and state management, an interactive coding agent CLI…Show more, plus TUI and web UI libraries for building agent experiences across terminal and browser.

What I like is that it is not just a single demo agent. It is a more complete stack: Slack bot integration, vLLM deployment tooling, and reusable components around the coding agent itself. I’m planning to explore using its coding agent pieces inside Kaku. It feels like a practical foundation if you want to build smaller, composable agents without starting everything from scratch.

Kaku 0.7🌊 is here.

If you haven't tried it yet, it's a terminal that started from WezTerm but went through a lot of surgery. Significant rewrites, a good chunk of code removed, and plenty of real improvements on top. Split panes and multi-tab work great out of the box…Show more, looks good by default, ships with a lightweight toolbox including yazi, lazygit, and common zsh plugins. Light, dark, and auto theme switching built in.

This release adds transparency and frosted glass support, the terminal actually feels polished now. Added a close-window guard for those accidental cmd+w moments during AI coding sessions, cmd+shift+t restores it if you close anyway. Scrollbar config is in too. kaku ai now supports Antigravity model config, Google has been a bit chaotic lately but we added it anyway.
