Three Kami releases this week. Sequence, class, and ER diagrams now render in Kami’s own palette, clean enough to print. Installs and packaging steadier too. Good content deserves good paper.

0:09Your Mac lid closed, AI coding still running like it had a double espresso. Just one of the little things Mole handles for you.

6k+ of you run Waza 🥷, It turns engineering habits into short commands your AI agent runs: think, ui, check, hunt, write, learn, read, health.
Claude Code shipped its own /design, so ours yields and becomes /ui. Skills now self-check for updates too.

Built a wall of love for Mole, collected and sorted with AI from tweets and posts. See if you're on it. Every kind word means a lot and keeps this project going.

ICYMI: Kami makes slides and docs look polished, but restrained. Good content deserves good paper.
Now in v1.9 it draws diagrams too, automatically re-themed to its own palette, clean and consistent, no SVG by hand. Come try it.

🎉 Mole 1.8.0 is now available.
New Battery Care, Apple Silicon fan control, faster app updates, a smoother disk map, and a more useful menu bar.
A Mac maintenance app should show what it is doing, then stay out of your way.

Full release notes: mole.fit/releases
This one took 214 commits, 20,648 lines added across app code, tests, helper, and release scripts, with 2,270 passing tests before release.
For this release week, MOLEMOLE takes 20% off if you want to try Mole 1.8.0.
Someone wrote a viral tweet about me: "A Chinese developer got fed up with Electron apps eating his RAM, so he built Pake."
That was pretty much it. Four years later I'm still here, still annoyed by bloated desktop apps.…Show more
Latest two releases added enterprise SSO via --safe-domain so Pake apps work behind corporate login walls, auth flows like OAuth and SSO now stay inside the app instead of jumping to the system browser, shipped native Arch Linux .zst packages, added --min-width, --min-height, --app-version to the GitHub Action, and fixed macOS auth popup crashes, Linux title bars, and Wayland input issues.
One command, any webpage, still under 10 MB.

A real email exchange between me and a user.
Good tools should reach everyone. mole.fit/

A quiet corner.

Thank you for the recommendation. I’m still actively maintaining Pake, and I even released a new version a few days ago. If you have any suggestions or issues while using it, feel free to contact me directly.
Clean Screen in Mole. Press ⌘⌥⌃Esc, the screen turns black, a poem appears, and the keyboard locks.
Time to clean your Mac and wipe away fingerprints, dust, and distractions. Probably the most unnecessary feature I’ve built, maybe my favorite one.

Mole CLI v1.43.0 🦊 released, cleans tens of GBs in one run.
Now handles orphaned system services, Docker helpers, Google telemetry logs, XDG cache dirs, plus live streaming in mo analyze.

Your AI writes well. Four Kami releases this month make your resumes and reports look the part too. Facts checked before rewriting, a clean two pages, four languages. One quiet design system, zero setup.

1:05If a friend's worried now that Claude Fable 5 is gone, Waza might help.
It's the engineering habits I use daily, planning, reviewing, debugging, as 8 skills that run the same on Claude Code, Codex, and others. Switch the model underneath, keep working.

🎉 Mole for Mac 1.7 is live.
Apple Silicon fan control, camera/mic privacy alerts, stay awake for AI coding, lock input to wipe your screen, VoiceOver, built-in app updates, Blue Marble earth, fast treemap. Ready for macOS 27.

Pake turns any webpage into a lightweight desktop app with one command. 50K stars, two fresh updates:
· Cmd/Ctrl+F in-page find via --enable-find, with native menu entries
· Right-click image/video downloads now work, even on strict CSP pages
· Dots in app names are finally allowed
· pnpm 11 no longer breaks first install

Mole CLI v1.42.0 Otter 🦦 released, two versions of improvements packed in.
mo clean: handles huge workspaces without hanging, more rebuildable caches covered, removes dead app records from unmounted DMGs, protects Raycast v2 and Codex Desktop state.…Show more

mo status: fast metrics paint in under a second with RSS alongside CPU, refresh ~2× faster.

Kami v1.7 is out. Your AI writes well. Now your slides look good too.
Markdown decks that render to HTML, PDF, or PPTX. Now in Korean too. Docs sites look sharper. Diagram-ready, print-ready, zero setup.

🎃 Kaku V0.12 is here, the zero-config macOS terminal for AI coding. Thanks for waiting.

Full changelog 👇
1. Session Scrollback: reopen a pane and its scrollback comes back, up to 1,500 lines, reflowing when the width changed. During long AI output, scrolling or resizing no longer jumps you to the top.
2. Codex Backend: the assistant runs on your existing Codex login, no separate API key needed.
3. AI Chat: the overlay streams answers in real time, suggests your next message with /suggest, and reopens reliably.
4. AI Shell: the # quick-fix adds injection detection, and tool access blocks credential files like .env and SSH keys in any directory.
5. SmartPrompt: Cmd+Q quits instantly when every pane is at a shell prompt, asks first when an agent or editor is running, and no longer prompts just because background helpers like gitstatusd are alive.
6. Smart Tab: Tab accepts the grey autosuggestion first, then falls back to completion. Set smart_tab_mode = 'completion_first' for the old behavior.
7. macOS Window: theme switches refresh every window at once, fullscreen exit is clean, and a title-bar click no longer maximizes.
8. Document Open: PDFs, images, media, archives, and Office files open in their default app instead of VS Code.
9. Polish: prompt colors stay correct for Starship, tmux, and Powerline; zsh setup no longer prints a stray "command not found"; the Nightly is now a signed, notarized DMG.

🥷 Engineering habits you already know, turned into skills AI agents can run, Two new Waza releases.

Stricter release gates catch stale references and packaging stragglers. Debugging adds instrument-first flow, native freeze triage, and recurring bug testability. Review now covers generated files, cleanup safety, migration scope, and dead-code proof. Writing gains product localization review, long-form structure cleanup, and multilingual typography guidance. Smarter skill routing for hosts that skip descriptions.
